Hell houses are haunted attractions typically run by American, fundamentalist Christian churches or parachurch groups.

so i just resumed on my reading of “The GOD Delusion” almost done. I came across the reading of “Hell House,” it is about Christians scaring the shit out of their kids, usually at the age of 12, and i think that is totally messed up in the head. Why the hell would you traumatize your kids like that?

As much as I can’t stand religion, I believe kids, whether in a family of atheists or christians or other religions, they should be taught how to think for themselves rather than taught what to think.

If you are religious (with kids), sure tell them about the religion, don’t enforce it on them, let them learn science. I am sure they will come to a conclusion on their own.

Don’t traumatize the kids by bringing them to hell house and scaring them shitless for Jesus.

This is such a bad way to “convert” them. This simply makes christians evil.

          

when the students were asking how hard the exam is going to be, the professor said no no no, its from hard, harder, & hardest

thats ridiculous…i gave up on trying to do the questions in the textbook, theres simply way too many questions to work on…i worked on it for 3 days and couldn’t even get pass 3 chapters…theres 5 chapters on the exam….

also, i am almost done reading “The GOD Delusion”
which i have plenty to say about, but i don’t have the time yet because well school is top priority right now
but everything makes sense…not because i am atheist, but logically it makes sense…i know believers do not believe in logic because for some odd reason they are too dense to use logic when it comes to religion…im not saying they are dumb in general…im saying they are dumb, excuse me, blind, to see it…
i wish that everyone would just read this book…

so for the christians that truly believed that this country was founded as a christianity nation, you were lied to and deceived by your own religion. tells you how much this religion is actually helping you. if you were lied to about this, what makes you think they aren’t lying about God?

I always thought the same thing, just didn’t put into the correct wording, but good thing Sam Harris did that for me.
I find it true that people who experienced these “PERSONAL EXPERIENCE”…such as God showing them a sign, actually seeing angels, and/or God speaking directly to them in their heads.

See if they didn’t say it was God, any normal people would think that person is delusional/psychotic and needs medical assistance.
but when they say its God, its OH MY GOODNESS…..sighhh…people don’t think you got problems

But Peter Sutcliffe claimed that he heard Jesus to tell him to kill women, why is he getting locked up? I believe the court of justice stands by God. “One Nation Under God”??? He is using Jesus/Holy Spirit/God as his defense, why is he locked up?
I hate it when the same religious people who believes in the same God won’t back them up when they say Jesus/God told them to do something (to the norm its bad). What if he is telling the truth?

Now don’t get me wrong, he deserves to be locked up, because thats wrong.
but what im pointing out which relates to everything to above the quote…Peter Sutcliffe is considered psychotic, right? he heard voices…so why doesn’t that apply to everybody that hear/heard God/Jesus?
What I can’t stand is that people who believe in the same thing chooses if that person is qualify to be consider as one of them.

Religious group would exclude Peter, because he did something bad and is supposely giving a bad name to their God.
To me, thats pure bullshit…

thats like saying…a football team…one player is gay…and then the rest of the team considers him not in the team, but yet he still plays for them.

          

let me first define the short definition of Omniscient – all knowing
Omnipotence – all powerful; unlimited power

the thing is you can’t have omniscience and omnipotence together…they are incompatible with one another.

Richard Dawkins:

If God is omniscient, he must already know how he is going to intervene to change the course of history using his omnipotence. But that means he can’t change his mind about his intervention, which means he is not omnipotent.

I definitely suggest reading richard dawkins’ “The God Delusion”
even if you are a believer, read it and seriously think about what is being said and how it is definitely related

Richard Dawkins narrowed it down to what type of people there are. there’s 7 strengths/categories i guess

1. Strong Theist. 100% probability of god.
2. Very high probability but short of 100%. De facto theist. ‘I cannot know for certain, but strongly believe in God and live my life on the assumption that he is there.’
3. Higher than 50% but not very high. Technically agnostic(someone who is doubtful) but leaning towards theism. ‘I am very uncertain, but I am inclined to believe in God.’
4. Exactly 50%. Completely mutual.
5. Lower than 50% but not very low. Leaning towards atheism. ‘I don’t know whether God exists but I’m inclined to be sceptical.’
6. Very low probability, but short of zero. De facto atheist. ‘I cannot know for certain but I think God is very improbable, and I live my life on the assumption that he is not there.’
7. Strong atheist. ‘I know there is no God.’

Now most people are #6 that are atheist. I, myself, is #6. why? because i can’t prove there’s no god, but neither can #1 can prove it.
I have an open mind, if there’s proof, i will believe there’s god..my condition. I need to see God and speak to him personally. (not thru praying)

Now im not sure, my cousin might believe in God, because of “spirits.”

If you are reading this; don’t get me wrong, i believe there are spirits as much as you do, but it doesn’t necessarily mean theres God that created the whole world and how he has a plan for everything.
Spirits are another form of energy. Energy can’t be created or destroyed. Energy was always there.
So its possible to have spirits. since we did experience it together before, remember?

for my readers that doesn’t know the story

me, my lil brother (lets call him W), my older cuzin(girl..well woman now lol let call her A), my other cuzin(boy/guy, same age as me,lets call him B)
we all were at her place. we heard some a tetris music coming from the first generation GameBoy

anyways the back of it had no batteries…we heard it directly from it…all four of us…so it was just one person’s hearing problem
well..B picked it up and the music stopped…’A’ went to the bathroom, a moment later, she ran out screaming and all red…she said my water gun was floating a bit or something…don’t remember the details since it was like almost 20 years ago
well when i was there, i wasn’t so sure what’s going on, i thought it was just a joke…but scared…
and then as soon as happened…the tv was turning on and off…this is when i thought it was funny anymore
turns out the remote was on top of the tv! after that…Nintendo was going on and off also…but as soon as we started to yell out the window, my cousins’ friends came and everything stopped…

now that i think about it…it was probably a ghost kid playing with us…since we were kids back then…
gameboy, water gun, tv prank, and nintendo…oh yeah i remember what was in the nintendo…the game was ghost busters II, the irony lol

but yeah that was one experience we all remembered

          

I guess I was researching on “thyroid cancer” that is why i had the nightmare.

the imagination: i was back in my high school years and was in the bathroom with my friend and i was just in pain (don’t remember what & where) but after the pain, my tongue and my nose was full of blood. It was just dripping.
For some reason my friend just didn’t think much of it and the day went on. Next thing in my dream i woke up with LOTS of hair gone. I guess it was the chemo that was causing it. And no one seemed to care. In my dream i was just carrying on like it doesn’t matter. And funny thing is that even in my dream, i didn’t care for the “praying to god” for help. I just simply said “oh wells, i’ll just live however it will turn out”.

Now i have at least a bit more understanding for people with cancer and how they are feeling.

the reason why i was researching for it; was because someone i know got thyroid cancer. If treated properly and early, the chance of the cure is extremely high. So thats a good thing.

I’ve been reading a little bit today and some of the stuff amazed me.

First let me quote from a letter from the Founder of the Calvary Tabernacle Association in Oklahoma:

what this means is that people who don’t believe in a god simply don’t questions people who believe in one or a few. people simply just agreed.
I remembered when i used to go by a place that is a church that had a saying about jesus saves you blah blah…i never understood it and i questioned it, my parents told me not to say anything to those people who believe in Jesus. I just accepted that. But now its a different story, I feel like it should be addressed.

You know religions causes the warfare that is happening to this day. these wars are just describing ‘ethnic cleansing‘. This is just another excuse for war.

The Faithful members of the Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal believe that they can understand God only by drinking hoasca tea (containing the illegal hallucinogenic drug dimethyltryamine). Remember this, they simply believe that the drug can enhance their understanding.

I agree with Dawkins that Religion, as ever, is the trump card.

But that isn’t what it is about. ‘The right to be Christian’ seems in this case to mean ‘the right to poke your nose into other people’s private lives’. I bought a book “The GOD Delusion” by Richard Dawkins. I have to read the Bible that I bought also. I might be reading them back and forth rather than just finishing up one book and start on another. This way I can keep my mind sane from just simply reading the Bible itself.
I remember when I took an english literature class and had to read part of the bible, there was something that made me feel like i was about to agree with the bible, when i snapped out of it, i felt like it was just brainwashing.

          

Theres so many flaws with the bible, my first complaint would be the 7 seven days of creation.
Why do christians always say in God’s world, 7 days could mean thousands or millions of years.
The bible itself CLEARLY says DAYS!!!

Actually, it took 6 days for the almight powerful god to create the world, 7th day (sunday) he rested.
now please explain why does he need to rest when hes all powerful?

This was the first time “evil” was mentioned. The definition of Evil didn’t come to place anywhere. When the beginning of the bible, everything was explained. what is what. Evil just popped out of nowhere

We already knew what is evil. So from what my understanding is, God created the serpent which He himself created evil to exist.
So therefore he is evil himself
