Genesis

So recently I just bought the “Holy Bible” from Barnes & Noble for a good price, but the bookis amazinly small, the font size is like a 5 hahaha
well i just started reading it. Even though I read the Genesis before in an English Literature class.
I debated with the whole class and against the professor.
I turned out to be the only atheist in the class.

Theres so many flaws with the bible, my first complaint would be the 7 seven days of creation.
Why do christians always say in God’s world, 7 days could mean thousands or millions of years.
The bible itself CLEARLY says DAYS!!!

Actually, it took 6 days for the almight powerful god to create the world, 7th day (sunday) he rested.
now please explain why does he need to rest when hes all powerful?

Genesis 3:5 “The Temptation”

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

This was the first time “evil” was mentioned. The definition of Evil didn’t come to place anywhere. When the beginning of the bible, everything was explained. what is what. Evil just popped out of nowhere

Now to backtrack it

Genesis 3:1

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.

We already knew what is evil. So from what my understanding is, God created the serpent which He himself created evil to exist.
So therefore he is evil himself

  1. An atheist reading the bible.
Interesting deduction, confusing too. Since God has created the serpent which he created knowing it was evil, so god is evil then what do I do with my pocket bible now?(font size 0.5)
Now that you have declared god evil himself. your lucky I’m not the Go-to-church-every-day-and-read-the-bible-at-night-every-night type of person, or this would offend people.
    I simply find it interesting

  2. well the reason for reading it is because i want to have a better understanding of what these christians are thinking
i actually don’t care if i offend them because they can’t back up their statements

  3. true…true… they dont have anything to back up their statements. But their belief in god is stronger than their facts backing up their statements.
